About the NEP+The Network of Networks of HIV Positives in Ethiopia (NEP+) was established in 2004, as an umbrella organization of twelve PLHIV networks comprised of nine regional states, two city administrations and one national PLHIV women networks.&nbsp;NEP+ is legally registered as per new federal ACSO with registration No 1483. As collective voices of PLHIV communities, NEP+ is principally committed to end HIV and other top diseases and its impacts; advocate for the rights of PLHIVs, and other marginalized groups in the country. Currently, NEP+ would like to invite competent and qualified applicants for the position of&nbsp;position TITLE: Internal Auditor OfficerDEPARTMENT:&nbsp; Internal Audit Service officer&nbsp;REPORTS TO: - Executive DirectorJob summary:&nbsp;The purpose of the Internal Auditor position is to assist in ascertaining whether NEP+ is acquiring, protecting and using its resources economically and efficiently. She/he identifies the causes of inefficiencies and determines compliance of activities and operations with laws, policies, procedures, guidelines, contract agreements and regulations.&nbsp;Responsibilities and tasks<ul><li>Performs audit in a professional manner and in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.</li><li>Carries out the internal controls evaluation of the activities under review;</li><li>Conducts pre-field visit assessments;</li><li>Carries out financial and material audit activities;</li><li>Ensures that assets and liabilities mentioned in reports really and physically exist;</li><li>Conducts compliance audit to rules and regulation of NEP+ and its stakeholders;</li><li>Conducts periodic physical counts of stock inventory and reconciles with records.</li><li>Compiles audit working papers in a good manner;</li><li>Participates on exit conference with auditee;</li><li>Conducts extensive field visits and reviews the physical activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides compiled audit working papers with suggested recommendations for quarterly and annual audit reports preparations;&nbsp;</li><li>Reviews the adequacy of the audit responses;</li><li>Prepares audit response review notes and forward it to the Internal Audit Manager) for review and action.</li></ul>

Internal Auditor Officer

The NEP+, formerly known as AELWHA (Association of Ethiopians Living with HIV/AIDS), is established in October 2004 to raise and relay the collective voice of people living with HIV.
Originally there were 18 PLHIV associations which established NEP+. This number grew to 60 and decided in a conference to establish regional networks. Accordingly PLHIV associations found in Oromia, Amhara, SNNPR, Afar, Somali, Tigrai, Gambella, Benishangul-Gummuz, and Harari regions and the Addis Ababa Administration and Dire Dawa City Council established their own regional network. Currently the nine regional network and two city administration networks and The National network of HIV positive women network are the members came together and established NEP+ as an umbrella organization to lead the concerted effort.
