Cheshire Ethiopia (CE) is a pioneer non-governmental Disability and Development organization registered as Local Civil Society Organization committed to the provision of rehabilitation services to PwDs in Ethiopia since 1962. CE has been re-registered and accorded legal personality with Registry Number 0505 on 12/07/2019 as local organization in accordance with the Civil Society Organization No. 1113/2019&nbsp;Vision: Aspire to be an African hub of excellence in comprehensive rights based disability rehabilitation.’ Mission: To realize disability inclusive society through rights-based affordable and standard rehabilitation services as well as empowerment of persons with disabilities and communities with health, educational, economic, social, and over all empowerment interventions’Organizational Objective: To contribute towards the attainment of socio-economic development targets of the country by enabling person with disability to equally participate as an integral member of the society. Where we Work CE provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to persons with disability and families in Amhara, Benishangul Gumuz, Harari, Oromia, SNNP, Sidama, and Somali Regions and the two City Administrations of Addis Ababa&amp; Dire Dawa&nbsp;What We Do 1.Center Based Services/Program ;- ( Menagesha Rehabilitation Center, Hawassa Rehabilitation Center, Diredawa Rehabilitation Center , Harar community&nbsp;based inclusive development and Addis Ababa Pediatric Rehabilitation Center )2. Mobile Outreach Program;- &nbsp;(deploy mobile outreach multidisciplinary teams to their respective areas of operation and create access to the most unreached parts of the country).<ol><li>3. Community Based Program :-(runs community based rehabilitation programs in different parts of the country where by health, education, social, livelihoods, and empowerment are the pillars of its interventions.</li></ol>

Trains assistant rehabilitation workers in acquiring basic skills and knowledge in occupational therapy. Updates and uploades data of CWDsin the data system.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Gives treatment for regular and follow-up CWDs daily.</li><li>Develops assessment and treatment plan for new CWDs per week.</li><li>Reassess CWDs of assistant&nbsp; therapist on quarterly base for feedback.</li><li>Gives&nbsp; assistive devices and medical referral of CWDs in cooperation with MDT.</li><li>Writes &nbsp;discharge form and medical certificate for CWDs who have completed treatment in collaboration with MDT.</li><li>Writes monthly report; action plan of next month and case stories of CWDs who have successfully completed.</li><li>Up dates&nbsp; data system on daily basis as well uploading clients’ documents.</li><li>Provides training for assistant therapist on basic occupational therapy skills and knowledge.</li><li>&nbsp;hand over his/her clients’ cards to assistant therapist when ever off duty</li><li>Respects Cheshire Ethiopia’ rules and regulation and also observe professional ethics.</li><li>&nbsp;Performs any duty assigned to him/her by&nbsp; the &nbsp;supervisor.</li></ul>
