About ASDEPO:&nbsp;Action for Social Development and Environmental Protection Organization (ASDEPO) is an Ethiopian indigenous, “Civil Society Organization” established in 2014. ASDEPO is mandated to operate in all regional states of the country and is engaged indifferent thematic program areas of intervention namely: Humanitarian Response, Education, Health/HIV and AIDS/RH, Women and Youth Economic Empowerment, Gender Based Violence and Child Protection, Migration/Human Trafficking, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (Wash), NTD’s Climate Change, Agriculture, Environmental Protection and Training in Gambella, Oromiya, Amhara, Benishangul Gumuz, Afar, SNNPR and Somali Region.&nbsp;&nbsp;Specific Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop specifications and BOQ based on the health center construction standard for construction of new buildings.</li><li>Supervise and coordinate all aspects of building and/or remodeling assigned construction efficiently and safely;&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain build schedules, schedule inspections, coordinate daily site work and activities, maintain quality standards, and ensure house(s) are completed by the scheduled move-in day.</li><li>Ensure a safe jobsite always.</li><li>Train volunteers in the safe usage of tools and equipment to prevent both injuries and damage.</li><li>Manages the construction portfolio through the implementation phase and produces resource-loaded and leveled project schedules. Reviews proposed designs to advise on constructability issues with adverse impacts.</li><li>Works with Supply Chain to identify and obtain resources (equipment, materials, and contractors). Reviews contractors’ credentials in the established qualification process. Supports material receiving through inspection.</li><li>Works regularly with project managers, engineers, and planners to define construction work package breakdown structure, requirements of work package content, and priority of package development.</li><li>Develops and executes multi-year strategy for efficiently executing construction activities where multiple projects will be simultaneously occurring.</li><li>Leads an organization that develops project cost estimates, material and fabrication requirements, and project completion dates, and evaluates engineering estimates compared to construction control estimates.</li><li>Manages multiple progress reporting requirements depending on project type.</li><li>Evaluates work in progress to assure construction and installation of facilities and equipment follow approved detailed design and engineering standards.</li><li>Conducts productivity analysis to identify and resolve critical variances so projects can achieve established objectives.</li><li>Maintains accurate and current project documentation necessary to archive and close out a project.</li><li>Develop synergy contracting strategies for turnaround and construction efforts.</li><li>Works to implement appropriate turnaround best practices into the construction plan, schedule, and execution of scheduled and emergency refinery outages.</li><li>Responsible for overall adequate use of personnel to reduce equipment downtime, improve efficiency, control costs, and anticipate further improvements.</li><li>Supports area team concepts and cooperative efforts among all refinery groups and departments</li><li>Lead technically during the handover of the constructions.&nbsp;</li><li>Raise PRs for construction and maintenance related activities</li></ul>&nbsp;Category: Health&nbsp;&nbsp;Work Location: Lalay Tselemti&nbsp;Career Level: Mid-Level (2+ - 5 years’ experience)&nbsp;Employment Type: Contract&nbsp;Salary: As per the organization salary scale
