JOB DESCRIPTION:&nbsp;Freight In Time Logistics PLC, a leading logistics company in Ethiopia, is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented individual to join our team as a sales and marketing officer. The role will be based in Addis Ababa and will focus on driving sales for various logistics services, including Air Freight, Sea Freight, Overland transportation, International Express Courier, Warehousing, and distribution. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of the logistics industry.&nbsp;Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;<ul><li>Acquisition, Retention, and Growth of Customers: Identify and target potential customers in the market, develop strategies to acquire new clients, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Implement initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, resulting in long-term partnerships.</li><li>Revenue and Profitability Growth: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing customers. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.</li><li>Sales Pipeline Development: Build a rich sales pipeline by actively prospecting and qualifying leads. Implement effective lead generation strategies and manage the sales process from initial contact to closure. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions.</li><li>Exceptional Hit Rate: Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs. Present compelling proposals and negotiate contracts to achieve a high success rate in winning new business.
