<p>Kerchanshe specializes in coffees sourced from Yirgacheffe, Lekempti, Gimbi, Djimma, and Sidamo, names that epitomise fine Arabica coffee. Since its inception 15 years ago, Kerchanshe has established a track record of fair trading and excellent customer service, and now employs over 1,250 permanent staff and 10,000 seasonal staff. Directly and indirectly, it impacts the livelihoods of over 1 million coffee growers throughout the southern and south-western coffee-cultivating regions of Ethiopia.</p>
<p>The passion for fine coffee is coupled with consistent reinvestment not only in improved infrastructure, technology and processes, but Kerchanshe also invests 10% of its annual profits into social responsibility programs such as building schools and providing clean water to the communities it serves</p>

<p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><ul><li>Acts as a spokesman for the company and is responsible for building relationships with government, media, and other stakeholders while ensuring the development and implementation of PR policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Plans and facilitates the company’s public relations programs,</li><li>Serves as liaison with staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning,</li><li>Develop and implement PR policies and procedures,</li><li>Plan and budget for PR events, programs, and initiatives,&nbsp;</li><li>Acts as spokesman of the company,</li><li>Review the online content in media announcements and media kits,</li><li>Monitors corporate image frequently and ensures it is in compliance with the company brand,</li><li>Monitors and tracks information relevant to the company published on press, checks their coherence, and recommends/takes appropriate actions as needed,</li><li>Reviews content produced for a corporate website, intranet, and social media channels,</li><li>Produces content for various speeches, events, hearings for top management,&nbsp;</li><li>Develops and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy, as needed,</li><li>Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.</li></ul>

Public Relations Expert (Journalist)
