Coordinate the preparation of long, medium and short range business plans, its consolidation and submission to D/CEO-Operations
Monitors and reviews the operational planning processes of the company and aligns these with the budget processes; monitors the implementation of the annual plan; complies reports at Company level.
Design appropriate business promotion strategies and submit recommendations to the D/CEO-Operations. Work with advertising firms/other Suppliers to develop and finalize all advertising and communications campaigns and materials;
Conduct promotional activities through various methods including brochures, newspaper, radio and TV and other promotional means. Communicate and promote Company’s products and services, networking client base to ensure that buyers are fully aware or what the company can offer;
Build and maintain relationship with clients and intermediaries generating new sales and profitable businesses;
Collect data through various means including market intelligence to design market entry strategy, establish premium rates and enhance investment profits on available funds;
Identify and lead marketing opportunities and business development initiatives. Follow-up the competition environment with systematic and professional approach and proposes proactive marketing actions with detail implementation strategy;
Develop polices, guidelines and procedures to hire agents and salespersons in accordance with the regulatory requirements and the companies marketing strategy and implements the same upon approval. Attract, train, coach, motivate and develop agents to achieve high level of business and technical expertise;
Conduct customer satisfaction survey by appropriate technique and provide proposal.
Undertake research and business development studies. Conduct periodically market research on all product categories of the company and identifies opportunities and threats prevailing; and recommends proactive strategies to be under taken by Management;
Conduct feasibility studies to open branches in Addis Ababa and other geographical areas. Propose strategies for market segmentation and identifies priorities as to which regions should be developed first in terms of market potential.
Evaluates current market share and position of the company with respect to their products and updates all concerned management bodies;
Attract, train, coach, motivate and develop staff to achieve high level of technical expertise;
Job Requirement
MA/BA in Marketing Management, Economics, Management or related fields
8/10 years relevant experience out of which 4 years in supervisory level
