Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Livestock Officer, the Livestock Extension Officer works to improve food security and livelihoods of target smallholders through extension services on cattle breeding, management and development related services mostly in the outdoor setting. The Assistant Livestock Officer provides technical support and plays mobilization and facilitation role in communities she/he is assigned, including breed and feed technology, cattle management best practices, awareness creation and behavioral change through education, information and communication.
