ROLE PURPOSE: Under the direct supervision of the Child Protection Coordinator. the Child Protection Project Officer, will ensures the proper implementation of the Child Friendly Spaces Project. Provide training and orientation for CFS Facilitators on setting up and managing a CFS, on Child Rights, Child Participation, Child Protection (including the Child Protection Policy), and provide on-going support and mentoring to practice these concepts In coordination with Child Protection team members, support regular participatory activities with different groups of children to identify issues affecting children in their communities, and assist the teams in developing appropriate responses. Ensure that all activities are in line with Save the Children's goals and policies. This means active participation and interaction in child-friendly activities together with the Children, as well as the volunteers and the rest of the staff. The Supervisor shall follow up plans, administer, monitor and evaluate the activities being implemented by the Child Protection team in the CFC, in a manner consistent with SCI programming principle and the mission’s program focus and strategy.
