Main responsibilities
Responsible for the effective and appropriate management of an organization's records
Records Manager plans, develops and administers records management policies designed to facilitate effective and efficient handling of business records and other information
Coordinates and directs, through subordinate managers, activities of departments involved with records management analysis, report analysis, and supporting technical, clerical micrographics, and printing services
Evaluates staff reports, utilizing knowledge of principles of records and information management, administrative processes and systems, cost control, governmental recordkeeping requirements, and organizational objectives
Confers with other administrators to assure compliance with policies, procedures, and practices of records management program storing, arranging, indexing, and classifying records
Facilitate the development of filing systems, and maintaining to meet administrative, legal, and financial requirements
Devise and ensure the implementation of retention and disposal schedules; overseeing the management of electronic and/or paper-based information; setting up, maintaining, reviewing, and documenting records systems
Advises on and implements new records management policies and classification systems
Providing a policy framework to guide staff in the management of their records and use of the employer's records system
Standardizing information sources throughout the company managing the changeover from paper to electronic records management systems
Enabling appropriate access to information; responding to internal and/or external information inquiries
Managing and monitoring budgets and resources; training and supervising records staffs…
Job Requirement
Knowledge, skills, and experience required
At least a Diploma in Record and archive or related fields
Five years and above work experience related to transport, import-export-trading house, factory or related companies
Excellent knowledge of record-keeping and archiving
Certified in Kaizen and Six-sigma is a privilege
Excellent practical IT knowledge and skills
Good analytical skills, with recording and database handling skills
Good interpersonal and work ethics skills of the highest order…
