JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance, Admin & Grant Officer will provide technical input and guidance on finance, admin and grant of the proposed European Union-funded three-year collaboration in Cross-Border Areas of the Horn of Africa Region: South Omo Zone, Ethiopia –Northwest Kenya border. The Officer is responsible to ensure that financial transactions are maintained properly at field office (Turmi). This requires insuring that the financial documents are timely complete, accurate, properly accounted, and available for posting inputs. S/he is also required to play an important role in monthly closing. The post holder will also be a key actor in planning processes and will ensure the provision of relevant and timely financial data for regular monitoring. S/he will also ensure proper implementation and adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines.
