Project Mercy established a presence in rural Yetebon (9 kms east of Butajira, Gurage Zone) in 1993. Most notable projects include: road construction, a reliable community water supply, agriculture, school from KG to12 grade, and highly-regarded 54-bed primary hospital (our website: www.projectmercy.org).<br />&nbsp;<br />Cognizant of the dire maternal and child situation in the country and an invaluable role of midwives/anesthetists, Project Mercy is committed to establish a Centre of Excellence in Midwifery/Anesthesia trainings at Yetebon, Butajera, in November 2013.
