<span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family:open sans,helvetica,arial,lucida,sans-serif; font-size:20.4px"><span style="font-size:12px">NOVIB was established in 2007 by local civil society organizations (CSOs) who work on disability issues, with particular emphases on visual impairment. The Network was launched at a Founding Conference conducted from 20th-22nd, September 2007, and facilitated with the financial and technical support of STICHTING DIR and other Dutch-based international organizations.</span></span><h2>VISION</h2>
<p>NOVIB envisions an inclusive and accessible physical and social environment where persons with visual and other impairments enjoy equal opportunities in all aspects of life.</p>
<h2>MISSION</h2>
<p>NOVIB promotes the educational, economic and psycho &ndash; social empowerment of persons with visual and other impairments through enhancing the implementation capacity of member organizations, advocating the equalization of opportunities and inclusive development practice, and public sensitization.</p>
