Hearts of Humanity will work closely with parents as well as caretakers to use positive reinforcement within their home to meet their child’s specific needs, and thus improve their overall quality of life.
Operational days: Monday to Saturday Operations hours: 6am to 6pm

Full Time Care: Monday - Saturday
Part Time Care: Based on families’ needs
Drop Off Care: Few hours a day based on parents’ need
Overnight Care: Based on parents’ need

Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching either individual, or small groups of pupils within or outside the classroom;
Preparing lessons and resources;
Marking and assessing work;
Developing and adapting conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils;
Using special equipment and facilities, such as audiovisual materials and computers, to stimulate learning, and interest in learning;
Collaborating with the classroom teacher to define appropriate activities for the pupils in relation to the curriculum;
Assessing children who have long or short-term learning difficulties and working with colleagues to identify individual pupils' special needs;
Liaising with other professionals, such as social workers, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and educational psychologists;
Liaising closely with parents and guardians;
Organizing learning outside the classroom in activities such as community visits, school outings or sporting events;
Assisting in severely disabled pupils' personal care/medical needs;
Updating and maintaining records on pupils' progresses;
Behavior management;
Developing programs for learning activities;
Planning, preparing and researching lessons;
Preparing and adapting teaching materials;
Maintaining contact/teaching time with students on an individual, class or small group basis;
Checking and assessing students' work and giving feedback;
Encouraging personal development via tutorial/pastoral work;
Attending meetings and reviews;
Writing reports;
Coordinating the work of support staff.
Job Requirement
Education: Certification, Diploma or Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Education, Early Childhood Development, Music and/or Art
Experience: 0-1 year experience
Personal Skills: Great communication skills, must be a team player, a self-starter, energetic and MUST LOVE CHILDREN.
Other Skills: English and Computer skills are a plus, although not mandatory.
