Site: Harar Brewery SC Job Grade: 15 Job Purpose: Lead and manage the brewery Quality systems and processes. This includes the laboratory function as well as including quality assurance system integration. Lead and manage the process improvement activities through the two technologist positions.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the management and implementation of Heineken Lab Star system. This includes all requirements around analytical, microbiological and sensory analysis.
Support Production in process and product troubleshooting and improvement
Ensure staff are training and coached to retrieve and interpret quality information
Ensure food and quality systems are implemented, according to ISO 22000 and ISO 9000 systems
Champion and lead adherence and compliance to Heineken rules, standards, and procedures.
Ensure the timely and correct (i.e., according to Company’s procedures) analyses on the product are performed.
Job Requirement
Education: (level) Bachelor in chemistry/food technology, chemical engineering or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as Department Manager or 5 years as Team Leader in a Quality role in a food manufacturing Company. Language: English C2 Computer: basic skills (Windows, Word and Excel)
