SCOPE OF WORK/ JOB PURPOSE:
Under the direct supervision of Camp Manager and Program Manager, the CWI Prevention Officer will supervise the prevention activities in Bambasi refugee camp. The CWI Prevention Officer will train and supervise refugee community workers and community activist to respond GBV issues in the camp. This includes providing ongoing training and mentor-ship for community workers, community activist, develop a quarterly work plan and utilizing monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure high quality services. The CWI prevention Officer will encourage smooth communication, collaboration and coordination among partners from the protection, health, legal, and psycho-social sectors committed to reducing the incidence of violence against women. Conduct workshops, training and disseminating information to all relevant stakeholders and conducting prevention-related training for service providers to promote quality services.

Skills Required
o Basic supervisory/managerial skills.
o Technical and report writing skills
o Computer literate.
o Fluent spoken and written English.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o Clear understanding of gender, power abuse, and issues surrounding violence against women.
o Able to maintain GBV and protection principle at all times
o Experience in participatory techniques and community mobilization include facilitate the training.
o Ability to lead, train, supervises, facilitate and motivate other CWI field workers in their respective tasks in a professional, respectful and supportive manner.
o Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain composure and prioritize work under pressure, work over-time when needed and able to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
