Summary: The Focal Person (FP) will play the lead role in implementation of a research project on training and assessing psychosocial competencies in paraprofessionals in humanitarian contexts. The research objective is to develop and evaluate materials as part of a WHO platform, entitled Ensuring Quality in Psychological Support (EQUIP). The FP will be broadly responsible for both clinical and research oversight for the project, including the development and adaptation of materials, collecting and analyzing high quality research data, overseeing training delivery and competence assessments, and leading a clinical team in delivering a psychosocial intervention to adult displaced or formerly displaced populations in urban and/or camp and reception center contexts. In addition the FP will act as the primary focal point coordinating with partner NGOs and local organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
