The Senior Accountant will be responsible to reporting directly to the Finance & Investments Division head.
We need a professional with inherent leadership qualities and the attention to details necessitates to ensure accurate reporting in all areas.
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions.
Detailed Duties & Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:
Check the correctness of payment vouchers prepared by junior accountants for payments against appropriate source documents and transfers for approval.
Code and records asset, liability, revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Prepare monthly payroll and submit to the delegated authorities further checkups and approval.
Prepare monthly tax and other reports required by government tax office like VAT, withholding tax, employment income tax, pension contributions and cost sharing.
Prepare and submit reports of safe box and cash balances at bank for finance manager on a daily basis.
Check & approves advances and follows for the proper and prompt settlement of per diem payment; dispersed over Moti employee, in collaboration with responsible work divisions.
Perform bank and account reconciliation,
Assists and Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting units.
Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the Directors attention.
Review all inter-company transactions, Conduct regular ledger maintenance;
Coordinate the scheduled periodic (semi-annual) internal audits and assist Finance Manager in conducting audits;
Follow and ensures the proper Maintenances and updated fixed asset registration.
Coordinate and participate on annual Inventory (count & valuation) of fixed Assets and prepares accurate summery report for income statement input and other purposes.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks;
Establishes the harmonious work - relationship with internal and externals; gives prompt & customer oriented services as per company policy & procedural manuals.
Avoids legal challenges by complying with the rules and regulations of the concerned government office.
Replace and performs duties of his manager / supervisor, in his /her absences.
Other tasks assigned by supervisor

Job Requirement
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 6 years’ experience, out of which 4 (four) years required on similar / as senior Accountant/ position; from recognized company.
Work experience from company’s engaged in import business is advantageous.
Who is Certified and have relevant work experience in Peachtree accounting; proficiency in computer usage, advanced knowledge of Excel and able to produce financial reports using all Miss. Office application
