Roles and responsibilities
- Liaison with the local government and the community on new project commencement, implementation, and monitoring and cooperate with other partners
· Recruit, train, manage and supervise filed sanitation and hygiene promotion staff, and follow the provision of necessary support for field Hygiene and Sanitation promotion officers;
· Plan, organize and execute trainings as per the need on PHAST, CLTSH, Sanitation Marketing, and WASHCo for Hygiene and Sanitation officers, for local government staff, water management committees (WMCs), School communities and hygiene promotion volunteers in the refugee camp.
· Take part on the rollout of Behavioral Change and Communication strategy (BCC) in refugee program, and assist annual Knowledge, Practice, and Coverage (KPC) surveys and government project evaluation in designing, preparing questioners, data collection, data entry, analysis and reporting in order to evaluate the impact of sanitation and hygiene promotion activities;
· Plan and implement project monitoring and evaluation activities in consultation with National WASH manager
· Initiate procurement towards purchase of the required items for rehabilitation, maintenance and construction of WASH facilities; supplies for hygiene and sanitation; follow up with finance and logistics for water, hygiene and sanitation activities budget and procurement progress.
· Facilitate in documenting WASH related data and keep records of WASH programs
· Participate on field assessment/survey in collaboration with the National WASH Manager, field WASH team, and regional sector offices
· Participate in other WASH activities as assigned by the supervisor.
· Experienced professionals in a relevant field B.Sc. Degree in the area of Environmental health, or Public health with at least 5 years of relevant work experiences.
· Commitment to IMC’s mission- Improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity.
· Working knowledge of English (spoken and written)
· Preferable to use Office Word, and Excel
