Who we are looking for
PSA is seeking a workforce development professional to support the Workforce Development sub-workstream under the Admas Programme funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in Ethiopia. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in working in HR development within a global and programmatic context.
This role will be responsible for providing technical and programmatic support for effective management of the programme area under the designated workstream to achieve the objectives under the programme. This role will demonstrate the skills, knowledge and technology for improved and sustained performance through Human resource development.
The post holder will work with the Workforce Development consultant/specialist or Senior Programme Manager in the provision of assistance towards the human resource development segment of the programme.
A management graduate who has excellent communication skills (reading, writing and speaking) in both English and Amharic. Degree in HR is definitely preferred and experience in development sector will be a bonus.
Job Purpose
To provide technical and programmatic support in implementing the full range of activities under the Human Resource Development segment of the programme.

Skills, experience and knowledge
The ideal candidate should have Minimum five (5) years’ experience in activities relating to human resources capacity development, preferably in the health supply chain context in developing countries. It is preferable to have working knowledge and understanding in a range of areas including competency development, HR processes and procedures, performance management and professionalisation.
