CCM (Comitato Collaborazione Medica) is an Italian NGO operating in Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan and Uganda, specialized in the implementation of health-related projects in both humanitarian and development contexts.
CCM has conducted several interventions in Ethiopia since 1982. Most of CCM’s projects in Ethiopia - funded by institutional donors and private foundations - are mainly aimed to address the needs of vulnerable people from high migration areas, increasing access and quality of health services provided to them. Additionally, the current situation of Ethiopia and nearby countries has recently determined a high number of IDPs and refugees. In this regard, CCM is committed to (I) ensure the emergency response to the current humanitarian crisis; and (ii) preserve the health system from a possible consequence due to the humanitarian crisis
The project aims to improve the living conditions of internally displaced persons present both in informal camps and in host communities, in the woreda of MaddaWalabu (Bale zone) Liben and Gumi Eldalo (Guji zone) of Oromia Region and Karsadula and DekhaSuftu (Libe zone) in Somali Region, strengthening their resilience and reducing their social and economic vulnerability.

RESPONSIBILITIES: -
This position is responsible for the effective management of the CCM financial database through regular recording, reconciling of financial records. This position is required to interact extensively with the finance and accounts department staff from national office as well as project office.
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE: -
This position reports to the Senior Accountant and/or Country Administrator /Project Coordinator and receives written and verbal direction from one of these individuals.
This position does not supervise or direct any staff (no direct reports). This position receives indirect guidance from:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education: - Degree specialized in Accounting and/or Finance from recognized University or Degree in Business or Public Administration is a requirement,
Experience: - At least 2 years of relevant finance/accounting experience is required for Degree Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems. Experience knowledge of accounting dBase system desirable.
Language requirement: - Fluency in English and national language of the duty station, both oral and written, is required; working knowledge of other NGOs environment is an asset.
