Job Title: Senior Program Manager (MGMT 2.019)

SUMMARY
The Senior Program Manager assists the Country Director in providing overall management for the Nepal field office with specific focus on programs. The incumbent will be responsible to assist the Country Director in activities that promote the success of in-country programs and staff development. Management responsibilities include overseeing program design and implementation, proposal writing and development, coordinating the budget process, and assisting the CD with daily field operations and field staff support as needed. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for regular program reporting to government, donors, SP affiliate offices and International Headquarters (IHQ).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree required; four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies strongly preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Nepali language skills highly desired.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry; ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
