§ Work closely with READ II team and survey supervisors in training, planning and implementation of the field work;
§ Collect data as per the tools, procedures and guidance provided for the task;
§ Ensure the data quality and integrity of the data collected and inform any data quality concerns for survey supervisors;
§ Attend trainings on the planned training days and make field travel as per the arrangements facilitated to targeted schools and Woredas by READ II;
§ Submit all the raw and processed data for READ II as per the agreed data collection and submission procedures;
§ Submit a brief data collection report on the data collection process for survey supervisors as part of the deliverables;
§ Conduct data cleaning and adjustment as per the feedback provided from the READ II MEL and data collection supervisors;
§ Maintain the safety and security of tablets and other data collection tools provided for the purpose;
§ Participate and support the training facilitation;
§ Work closely with the survey leaders, meet regularly, discuss performance of data collection.
Required Number: 72 (64 Enumerators & 8 Supervisors): - Amharic, Afaan Oromoo, Hadiyyisa, Sidaamu Afoo, Wolayttatto, Af-Soomaali and Tigrignya. (9 per each language)
Duration: Three Weeks
§ Minimum qualification- BA in education, social science, measurement and evaluation and other related field with relevant experience;
§ Previous experience in EGRA or school administered surveys preferably with the role of supervisors;
§ Must be agile with technology and general use of electronic gadgets;
§ Should have experience in data collection using electronic devices in similar assignments;
§ Knowledge of the local language on which the applicant applies to work on from the READ II intervention languages: Amharic, Afaan Oromoo, Hadiyyisa, Sidaamu Afoo, Wolayttatto, Af-Soomaali and Tigrinya;
§ Should have experience conducting research involving children;
§ Should have good team dynamics;
§ Should not have a criminal record;
§ Ability to handle harsh working environments in rural and remote areas;
§ Must be fluent in the local language of the respective regions;
§ Will be required to pass test and assessments as per the threshold prescribed by training workshop managers;
§ Fluency in the official working language of the region where s/he will be placed.
